Field map
This map shows the farm’s field names, many of which were recorded as early as 1587 when a survey was made showing Modbury as a single farm with all fields inclosed. The site of the old Modbury village is marked on the map and can be observed as you travel along the road towards Burton Bradstock.
There are public bridleways/footpaths on the map that follow the farm’s tracks and old smugglers paths, crossing the river Bride and returning to the road via the fish farm.
